Fast cruisers are born of the need to make cruising more fun as a paddler develops a nice stroke. There is a fast cruiser for every skill level and physical ability. They vary from stable enough for a big boy with gear to an aggressive race trainer. They are stable enough to play and fast enough for the fun race events.
